Time Sensitive: Covid MOU for AY 2022-20223

Dear Western faculty,As we head into Fall Quarter, we wanted to inform you that the United Faculty of Western Washington and Western Washington University have signed a Covid-related Memorandum of Understanding for AY 2022-2023.Both the UFWW and the administration agree that so long as SARS-COV2 transmission and its social effects impact faculty health, safety, workload, or evaluation, such agreements may continue to be necessary. UFWW Message: Information on Paychecks and Winter Warmth Event

Greetings Colleagues,I'm writing today with two pieces of information.First, I'd like to provide you with some information about how you will see the effects of the newly ratified CBA in your November 10th paychecks. The new CBA provides for a 3% compensation increase for all faculty. This increase will be reflected in this week's paycheck in three ways: 1. Greetings Colleagues,It's my pleasure to be able to write this email to you with two pieces of good news.First, I am happy to report UFWW members voted overwhelmingly to ratify the tentative agreement. This morning, Matt Roelofs (Chair of the UFWW Bargaining Team) and I visited the Board of Trustees meeting, where the Board voted to ratify the agreement as well.
