Greetings Colleagues,

It's my pleasure to be able to write this email to you with two pieces of good news.

First, I am happy to report UFWW members voted overwhelmingly to ratify the tentative agreement. This morning, Matt Roelofs (Chair of the UFWW Bargaining Team) and I visited the Board of Trustees meeting, where the Board voted to ratify the agreement as well. Following that vote the new CBA was signed by myself and President Randhawa and is now officially in place. The CBA is posted to the website as a searchable PDF.

Thank you to everyone for their engagement with this process and thank you, especially, to the bargaining team who worked tirelessly over more than 20 months to get us to this point. I cannot express enough how deeply I appreciate your work and commitment to our faculty.

Second, I am also happy to report that Dr. Desireé Cueto will be joining the UFWW executive board beginning immediately. Dr. Cueto is an Associate Professor in Elementary Education and we extend a warm welcome to the board.

And finally, a big thanks to you all for your patience during this time. We're happy to have reached a positive outcome and to continue our work of supporting faculty.
