25.1 If any of the terms of this Agreement are held to be invalid or unenforceable by operation of law or by any court of competent jurisdiction, the remainder of the Agreement shall remain in full force and effect. Either party may request negotiations over those invalid portions for the purpose of achieving a mutually satisfactory replacement.
25.2 Except as specifically provided, this Agreement will take effect upon ratification by both parties.
25.3 There shall be no strikes or lockouts during the term of this Agreement or during the negotiation for a successor agreement.
25.4 A “day” for all sections in this Agreement is a working day unless otherwise noted. A working day is Monday through Friday when the University is open for business, even if classes are not scheduled.
