The administration and UFWW bargaining teams met with the PERC mediator for two all-day sessions on Monday, May 12 and Tuesday, May 13. On Tuesday afternoon major progress was made. At 7 p.m., the UFWW delivered a package proposal to the administration. They indicated that they needed time to consider the proposal and bargaining was concluded for the evening. The two teams will meet again with the mediator on Tuesday, May 20, with the expectation of completing the contract.
